I am a out of warranty Harmony 1000 owner and sick & tired of almost blowing my speakers with run-away/sticking volume up commands

After a few bounces through technical support I finally received the answers I need and was offered 50% off (like many others) on a replacement remote. I know they do have some solid products so before I make another mistake thought I would ask. In the price range of a 50% off Harmony is there a better option?

I don't mind the 2 handed control of the 1000, like the screen and did master the set-up software...took awhile tho...so now I'm leaning towards a 1100 (as I heard its a totally different beast) or the H1.

Any advice?

I currently dont use RF but will likely add it so I don't have to point anymore... had enough of my TV not turning on too
Understand that would mean the 900 instead of the one or adding the RF to the 1100.

I honestly dont think I have any sequences programmed in my 1000 that I can currently think of? Just general activites... I know you ask for a reason cuz I think the 1100 no longer does sequences...is that correct?

should also mention I think a bluetooth option is nice but since i currently have to get up to power on the Wii I can do the same for PS3. Dont use PS3 for BR playback so no biggie. Cheers!

RF rules out everything except for the 1000, 1100, 900, and 890. If you needed sequences then that rules out the 900 and 1100.

It looks like you would end up with the 890 (discontinued but cheaper), 900, or 1100. For a PS3 IR to Bluetooth converter I'd save money and get a PS3IR-500 instead of the more expensive and less versitile Harmony version.

You could always jump ship to something like a URC remote.
