Hey:

It must suck to have people constantly asking you to speak for and explain for another, independent corporation.

Assuming that you guys feel you get valuable feedback from this forum, perhaps you could suggest to your contacts at Panasonic that they participate here.

You probably should warn them about all the heat they will initially take while everyone vents, but if they bacame participating members and expressed an interest in their customers (especially this forum full of influential early adopters), it might foster better will in the long run.

And we might get off your backs about Panasonic decisions (maybe.)

Think about it.

I would be happy if they would just lurk.

I'm the kind of person that bends over backwards to give people the benefit of the doubt.

I still think there is still a chance that Panasonic really doesn't understand the problems their Macrovision implementation is causing their customers. They SHOULD, but I suspect faulty communications WITHIN Panasonic, poor support systems and training, and a lack of a vested interest in this specific product may prevent recognition of the seriousness of this problem.

maybe they don't know there's a problem, since no one's told them. Complaints to individual customer service people won't filter up to people who matter. It needs to filter down.
