Replay TV 3060B for sale

First I'd like to say that if I'm breaking any rules by posting this I'm sorry. I checked the FAQ for the forum and didn't see anything about not posting about equipment sales.

I'm trying to make room for newer equipment and don't have much use for my Replay TV 3060B and was wondering what people might want to pay for this unit.

I would imagine it would probably be a good backup unit for those current 3060 owners that aren't interested in getting newer equipment.

Just PM me with what you would like to pay for this unit. It is in excellent condition and includes manual and remote.

Thank you.

You have to state a price - no auction-style sales.
Gotcha, how about $150 obo?
1. Is it fully functional and have you used it and if so for how long. Read my sig-line... I've had bad luck with "B" models and it sometimes takes a few to find a good one. So I'm asking cuz I want to know you have used it and been happy with it... not that you got it and it has sat unused in a closet. If it has sat unused that's fine but I'll leave 4 someone else to buy it then :D If you took it offline... when did u get it and how long ago did u stop using it?

2. Assuming (for that price) it does not have lifetime?

All 3060's originally shipped with lifetime service. That being said, it's possible that someone had DNNA transfer it to one of the newer models. This is why you have to be very careful when you buy one on eBay.
I'll be very interested in seeing the answer to this. I have two 30x0 series and one 4504 Replays and want to upgrade to 50x0 series. The 30x0 seems to go for $175 - $250 on eBay, depending on hard-drive upgrades, etc., but there are plenty that just don't sell.

Wow, 4 posts since Dec '01... that has to be a record. Did I mention, WOW?
dyker, I hate to say this but I may have jumped the gun here. The sale of this unit is dependent on a couple of things that hasn't happened yet and my wife has asked if I could wait a few weeks before I sell this item.

But just to answer your questions, it is being used daily (by my wife) in our upstairs bedroom. She's using it to record her CSI and ER shows. I use a dishplayer 720 downstairs in the family room. And frankly I don't know anything about subscriptions but we get the program guide just like we always have. I've never had to pay for it. I got this unit sometime in 2000 I think. This was before the "Showstopper" name came into existence.

Sorry for the mix-up, but I will be back on this forum in a few weeks and bump this thread up when she's ready to part with the unit.

My apologies.

And on top of that I read the forum for quite a while before I bothered to register.

I never felt a need to be a member of the chattering classes on this or any board. I read diligently and search extensively before I post and usually that answers any questions I have.

To anyone who measures the value of their contribution by number of posts ... uh, good luck with that.

Actually, the ShowStopper line was in the retail chain before the ReplayTV 30XX line. The ReplayTV 20XX line, IIRC, was only available direct from ReplayTV, then came the Panasonic ShowStopper line available retail, and then shortly after that the ReplayTV 30XX line became available.

You're MY hero, mister! Would mind autographing this used paper napkin for my collection, I promise I'll display it in a place of honor. I'm thinking that it'll go in "that empty picture frame right above the photograph of me getting that big, happy, "GLAD TO SEE YOU" hug & handshake from Slobodan Milosevic."
