My 3060 d/l the new zones the other night, and yes the new ReplayTV zone was there. So I decided to Add/Create the zone.

Imagine - The search returned nothing found.

So I looked on TLC at tuesday 5am and saw it in the channel guide....

hmmmm, wonder why it didn't find it.....

Lets try a search for "Replay" in Show Titles and description - Nope no luck couldn't find it.

Let's try "TV" - Nope

Let's try "Presents" - Nope.

No way no how would the machine find it's own show to record!

Now for fun, lets try the string "TIVO" - Boom found it "TIVO PRESENTS" friday 5:30am


Odd, it can find the competitions show, but not it's own show!

Still on version 2.x of the s/w.

Yes, doing a search for "Replaytv" returns the show in question. The problem is, using the "October: ReplayTV Presents" theme search (as instructed in the message) does not work. Further, even if it did work, would we need to recreate this theme channel every month (hint, hint, hint)?

a) no, you don't need to recreate it every month...that channel will continue to work even if the Zone is not there.


b) I've had this Zone since Friday night and it still doesn't show up in a search. This happens *frequently* w/ Zones...they give them to us before they work. Season Premiere and October:World Series are just two recent examples. Too bad all these examples are also very high profile.

If they've done everything right for the October Zone, it should show up and get recorded on the day of the show IF there's no conflicts, or course.


I have manually searched for it and tagged it to record, just in case.
