So, I don't like MV, but here is what I believe is the fundamental problem. Replay should not have partnered with any supplier that requires a different version of their software. Look at all the complaints recently, they are mostly about Showstopper. This isn't to say that Replay is perfect, but the Showstopper software changes are driving up the complaints on this board. To top it off Showstopper's are going to be more popular as they are discounted. So I'd like to ask the moderator of this board to separate the Replay branded board from the Showstopper board. This should indicate to all that they are different.

I think this is a bad idea. We showstopper and replaytv unit owners are brothers. Some of us own both units, it is not only interesting to see the differneces but the similarities among the units. We also have an on going dialog with potential buyers here in order to steer them in the right direction which is to replay and away from pana. Other than price I don't see any other reason someone would want a cobranded Panasonic unit that has a feature like CP-MV that is not in a consumers best interest but in the Ent. industry's bottom line interest. Lets all stay together. People can indicate showstopper in the topic line very easily there is no need for a segmented forum. Let's not split up the family just yet!
