I read that ReplayTV has Closed Captioning built-in, but I couldn't find info on how to turn it on or or or other controls of it. How do I control it?

The CC should just be passed straight through to your TV. The CC signal is not carried over the component outputs, however. I have been able to view them using the S-video or RF connections.

Just to add... the way you turn them on is the way you'd always turn them on, with your TV's settings.
