I live in rural Utah and a friend just gave me his replaytv 2000 (actual model number 2003) and i just hooked it up and set it up for my phone number and zip code, and the channel listing is for Salt Lake City. I only receive SLC channels, but due to the repeaters and translators, my channel #'s differ from the original SLC channel #'s. (IE, KSL 5 in SLC is on channel 13 here, FOX 13 in SLC is on channel 2 here, etc.) My replay channel guide has my channels listed on the original SLC channel #'s and so i can't look up shows, because the don't match... Make sense? anyways, any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

P.S. -Anyone know what the two 1394 ports are for on the back of the unit?

ReplayTV gets it's guide information from Tribune Media Service. You can either go indirectly through SB (makers of ReplayTV) to get this problem fixed (and wait an extra few weeks) or directly to TMS.

To request a fix from TMS go here

Or, if you'd rather bother SB about this problem, go

As for the 1394 ports, they never worked or better yet, never (and probably will never be) enabled. Probably were meant for future external storage.
