Just what *are* the differences between the ReplayTv's MPEG files and those closely adhering to the specific iso standard?
I ask this after converting a bunch of Panasonic DMR-30 files (AC-3) to MPEG 2 (Layer 2) via Womble - then using RTV tools to generate the extra files needed for DVArchive compatibility. I'm trying to get a better handle on how "standard" a standard like MPEG2 really is......
Any insights would be much appreciated.
