Research stage for 2.1

Right now I am trying to decide what I want to put (gear and furniture) in a listening room. I plan on a 2.1 setup. I am slowly piecing this together. The speakers I have are KEF Q100. What I need is the ability to run these and then switch to an older pair of Klipsch Heresy speakers I have. As far as inputs go I need phono, cd, an addition set of RCA inputs, bluetooth and maybe Usb. I have a laptop and an external drive that has 4Tb of music but no idea if I may really hook that up. All of my files are FLAC and are stored on another phone that I mainly listen to. I was given the other music but a bunch of it is not my style. Budget is probably 1k max.

Marantz NR1200 may work for you. Do you have DSD files?

A few but to be honest I don't know which files they are only because 4 TB is a lot to go through.

That device will play DSD files but first converts them to PCM.

Yamaha R-N803

I have Yamaha in my very modest HT/Living room paired with Klipsch RB 61's. I first noticed that it did smooth out the top end after installing it a few years ago. It looks like a good unit.

I have never had Denon equipment. Does it smooth out the sound? I know i know this just may be something I per sieve...

I can't really give you a comparison. I have been using Denon gear for over a decade ; I am on my 4th unit. Feature rich, well made, well supported.

Yamaha has many fans around the forums.

BTW, you don't state budget. The fact that you want A+B speaker terminals, puts you out of the more boutique-y brands(generally speaking)

Good luck

Oops budget of 1k I would say.
I know Onkyo isn't a lot of people's first choice but I've had really good luck with the 8270 (I have the Integra version) and they have the TX-8390 coming in November that's 135 Watts per channel (ignore the 200 rating) and has AccuEQ calibration. Should be around a grand, they haven't announced US pricing yet. Maybe check out the 8270 in the meantime if you don't need the extra power.

Does it have bluetooth? I only ask because I have heard different answers. I love the looks of it.
