quick question here,

don't know if anyone has experienced this

I have my PS2 hooked up to my TV via component, the game worked fine a few weeks ago but last night when I booted the game up, my screen just went blue..

no signal was coming through, I know the game didn't freeze because I can still hear the sounds...

Have you tried other games in your PS2? Perhaps there is a problem with your A/V cable/out...and its transmitting audio, but not video?

nope,

audio is through optical SPDIF

and all other games are working..including ones that support 480p

which I think RE4 does
