Retrace lines on toshiba 27" flat screen crt

Hey guys, I don't know if this is the right spot, but I'm having some trouble with what I was told were retrace lines on my TV. There are about 4 or 5 alternating white lines across the top of my screen. Sometimes its worse, sometimes they disappear and sometimes the left side is multi-colored. Anybody have any idea what causes it or how it can be fixed, or is it time for a new TV?

This forum is for CRT projectors, I think you'll get a better response in "Direct View (single tube based) Displays"
