Reuse HD

I upgraded to a 120 gig drive a few months ago and everything's been fine. Now I want to reuse me original HD in my PC. I understand the instructions for zeroing it out and everything, but something I haven't seen mentioned is this: If I unplug my 120 gig drive so I can zero-out the 40, will all the shows I recorded on the 120 still be there when I plug it back in? I would think so but just wanted to make sure.

Yes, as long as you unplug the IDE connector on the old drive prior to the finish of the unlock procedure. Pretty much if you unplug the IDE connector a couple of minutes after the lights start flashing, a new password will not be issued and the new drive will be accepted back in as though it was never removed.
Thanks NetworkTV... I'll give it a try.
