If Philips fixes a few things I have suggested to them, I would possibly bump theirs up to #2.

If their reviewer hadn't gotten two criticisms of the Philips wrong, it might already have been #2. Fix the things on your list and it ties for #1!

Also, the Panasonic writes DL if I'm not wrong
And the journalist is simple oriented : the most important for him seems to have a simple interface, a simple remote, an easy to use device, functionnalities come behind.

hmmm....no ATSC tuner, who cares about the remote...use my logitech...won't play music through it...no big deal there....so if I were buying one today, it looks like a toss up between the top three...although it would be interesting to find out what the ethernet port does on the Lite-On instead of what it doesn't do.
Pioneer it's making great products and cheap... we are lucky
No mention of a DV Input for Camcorders either which can be important to a lot of people today.
I couldn't agree more, don;t believe everything you read.
