RF AC3 cable causing interference or altering the soud of my amp on CDs ?

I wonder. I reconnected my Pioneer ld player with a Monster MVR2 75ohms cable to play some AC3 laserdiscs and I know sense a sort of lack of naturality in the sound when playing CD (coax digital output from cd player). unplugging the AC3 RF cable and everything back to normal. ???

I think it's those kind of "problems" that made Lexicon to decide not to put an internal demodulator and thus an AC3 RF input on its processors. comment ?
