if i'm playing the 5fth Elementh on my nec vt540 projector wich is connected with a svideo and a rgb cable, if running on svideo the subtitling is almost white, if changing to the rgb cable than the subtitling is almost yellow, i can't see any difference in picture quality ( maybe i don't see it ) What is the difference in quality and the subtitling in these movie ?

usually projector's settings need to be different for the different inputs. This means you'll have one set of settings for S-vid., and another set for RGB. The reason this is needed is that the signals go through separate circuitry before they reach the same ultimate place in the projector.


So, for RGB, adjust the settings for brightness, contrast, etc. hopefully you can save it in a different memory from teh S-vid settings. Use AVIA or Video Essentials if possible to help you out.
