I will be mounting an LED TV over my fireplace in a few weeks and in order to add power behind the TV and also run the cables behind the wall I will need to drill through a stud. I would prefer to drill through the stud and not have to patch any holes when I am done, so I would like to use the hole I am going to use for the TV cables behind the TV. This hole will be covered with a wall plate.

Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of right angle drill bits? This would allow me to use the hole that the wires will be coming out of.

I believe something like this is what I had in mind, unless someone can recommend something else.

Thanks

i bought one from harbor freight for cheap. you lose a lot of torque, but there is definitely enough to drill through a stud.

Thanks, I went to that website and found one for less than I was planning to pay.
