Hi, I noticed Rix Labs has a 25ft cable on their clearance page for only $10. I know for that price I could buy it and try it myself with little to lose, but I'm a bit impatient in the shipping process. Has anyone had experience with this company/cable?

I'm only sending 720p (and don't see upgrading for a while) straight from my LG BH200, but my concern is that 28awg over 25ft will give me sparkles.

That's probably the cable I just purchased from Rix and what a deal. Excellent service, quick delivery, excellent product. If I need additional cables I will definitely check them out again. Sorry if I beat you to this cable.

Update: I installed the cable and it works perfect for me. I tested it at 1080p and everything worked just great. The build quality is nice and solid, but the connectors feel a touch less sturdy than a monster cable. If you have a problem of repeatedly stepping on your HDMI connector, this cable is not for you.

Overall: It's a great cable for the $16 shipped that I paid.

I would recommend against those $9.99 25-foot cables. As mentioned, they're only 28 AWG.

While they may work fine with some equipment, esp. with 1080p24, they may fail with other equipment, especially at 1080p60.

I've had 25-foot cables that were 26 AWG that had problems with 1080p60 (and worked perfectly at 1080p24). I don't see the point in buying this cable, when you can get a nice 24 AWG cable for only about $10 more elsewhere.
