would like to know if somebody seen both of this processors performed , will there be any improvement going from vigatec fx2 to *** rock+ . i am using the vigatec with seleco sim2 svd 500+ 7" crt pj .

also , i will upgrade my ht in the future to 8 or 9" crt . which processor/scaler/doubler/quadrupler to look for . i am thinking of vigatec dune-fi or maybe *** rock pro . would like to hear some advice and opinions ,

I don't know much about the rock+ but the FX2 is only a de-interlacer and does not scale. These days you can get good scalers (that also de-interlace) for about the same price as the FX2, so unless you get a good deal on one, I may be inclined to keep looking around.

It's pretty obvious which one I would suggest you buy.


The Hybrid Rock+ we are selling through AVS powerbuy for $1,199 would be you best option for best bang for buck.


More importantly you can upgrade it to the Rock Pro once you've gotten your 8" or 9" CRT in the future.
