I received this in the post yesterday and the picture quality is superb. At first I thought it was a slight improvement but when it got to the outdoor scenes it really came into its own.


The colour palette is a lot cooler and realistic and the print itself is pristine. All the previously available extras seem to have ported over (there were a lot of them but I can't be 100% certain). The Stallone audio commentary IS there.


If anyone had any doubts about this edition, don't. I'm very happy with mine and I hope you will be too.

I remain skeptical. While I like the new color grading, at caps-a-holic if anything I saw less detail in the outdoor shots in a couple of instances making me suspect it is not a brand new scan, a different one maybe. If someone can point to a comparison that shows a detail improvement I may change my mind.
