My new Pio 503 CMX with 5002 card arrived in good shape yesterday from Dell. So far I am only using an S-connector from my Denon 5800 receiver. I am getting BNC adapters today to use the component outs from the 5800. The Pure Cinema is set to HQ and is a great improvement for DVD video. Armeggedon was almost movie-like.


Watching Replay or live satellite I could see rolling bars (one or two) across the screen moving from bottom to top. Anyone have an idea what this might be?


Also I am still undecided on which progressive scan DVD to buy. With the 503 deinterlacer I may not need one.

that's more than likely some noise on your power line. try plugging things in together or separately - you'll eventually get it gone.


others have posted about similar experiences, and switching circuits around usually fixed it.
