I am acquiring the G Romero "Dead" trilogy and have ascertained that the "Night of the Living Dead" millenium edition is the one to get. And I already have the Divimax edition of the "Day of the Dead DVD.

The Day of the Dead recently released DVD looks very nice. And, the millenium edition of NotLD "millenium edition is on order. Can anyone tell me which release of "Dawn of the Dead" is the one to get?

Has a digitally remastered release come out yet, or is planned?

Anchor Bay has a Dawn OTD SE scheduled for early next year (last time I checked). Till then, your options are pretty limited. You might be able to track down the "Director's Cut" edition on Ebay to tide you over but don't pay very much- the PQ is not too great.

Thanks for the reply. I think I will wait for that release. Any idea why they did Day of the Dead remaster before Dawn of the Dead?

I thought Dawn of the Dead was the most popular of the trilogy.

The "Day of the Dead" PQ is nice, so, I want to get the same from Dawn.

I thought they were all pretty good but I thought that Dawn of the Dead was actually funny. I only have Night of the Living Dead and Day of the Dead on DVD and my exwife has my Dawn of the Dead on VHS tape.
