Looking to power 5 Polk Lsi speakers. (2) Lsi15 fronts, (2) Lsi9 rears, and either an LSiC center or LSi9 for the center. I do like the ability to run 7 speakers off the Outlaw, but it will produce 165w per channel at 4 ohms, where the Rotel will do 200w per channel. I like the looks of the Rotel more than the looks of the Outlaw, but that's not really important.

Anyone have experiences with either of these products? The interior design of the Outlaw looks like it has a better layout, but, the exterior is fugly ;) I've been debating whether to go with an HK AVR7200, Outlaw 950/7100, or NOW the Rotel for over 2 months and still can't make up my mind. I thought I had it all figured out last week to do the HK (which really isn't rated for 4 ohms) but after looking at the Rotel my thoughts have changed. Do you even think I'll be able to distinguish 35wpc difference? I'm sure I won't be able to with the bookshelves, but the LSi15 towers I might, seeing they will need added power for the low-end.

Also, what are your thoughts on the Marantz MM9000? See a few on Audiogon for around $600 used. They are rated at 150wpc at 8 ohms, and are THX Ultra, which means they should be able to do 4-ohms. Any idea of their power at 4 ohms?

Any and all input is GREATLY appreciated!

If I were you and wanted 7-channel I'd get one of Rotels 2-channel amps for your mains and the 1075 to run the rest. Two amps with seperate transformers....mmmmmmm :p
