True. Price and small size are the big selling points of the 10S. With the 12S at $700, 85 lbs, and 20x22x22 dimensions, I'd rather get an HSU or Rythmik.Being larger and $700 (or more, if the "introductory price" is temporary), the 12" is going to invite comparisons to the likes of the Rythmik L series and Hsu's VTF-2. I'm looking forward to seeing how it measures up!
Any update on ETA?At 52 minutes, $699 introductory price, available January 2023. Also provided great insight into RSL company values.
Agreed. They will be stepping up to a weight class that will be fierce competition. The 10" Speedwoofer has a great little niche all to itself, delivering quality sound in a smaller package for under $500. Other brands don't really have an answer to it.

The Kef KC92 is "flat down to 11hz. That doesn't mean it has enough output to be useful. Same with Rythmik subs. You're not going to get useful output at 12hz with a 12" sub in a smallish enclosure.Agreed. They will be stepping up to a weight class that will be fierce competition.
I recently had a chance to integrate a Speedwoofer MKII and was impressed with the results in a 1900 cubic ft room for the price. But if it went up against an LV12M from Rythmik I'm not sure how it would fair. But I would like to see the fight!
I'm guessing they will be shooting for an F3 under 20htz but Rythmik and Hsu already have their 12" subs flat down to 12-18htz.
I'm guessing there is room for a third competitor in that size/price range either way. There is still not much to offer in this price range.
No clue but ecoustics has a youtube video of the new woofer playing at CES along with a $100 50 watt amplifier.Any update on ETA?
This sub still isn't listed on the RSL website yet which is kind of strange, thought they'd be taking pre-orders by now.

Interesting that RSL decided to get into the mini-amp game...the woman commentator gushes about it but it looks quite similar to the $80-100 Fosi mini-amps that Amazon's been selling for years. No clue but ecoustics has a youtube video of the new woofer playing at CES along with a $100 50 watt amplifier.
I did mine hasn’t shipped yet either ordered last Monday night the 20th they said they hoped to start shipping them yesterday so idk haven’t had any correspondence since the order confirmationDid anyone else get into the Early Access program for the 12S? I ordered mine but it hasn't shipped yet. I will post impressions once I receive it.
They sold out that’s why they have a preorder for the new batch if you want them I’d sign up on there website to get a chance to get 1 or 2I'm looking to order a pair of the 10s mkii they meet the WAF perfectly lol, but it says there's a pre order? I read people have been using the mkii for around a year now. How am I supposed to order from them?
Ah gotcha, good to know. I was a little worried that they just hadn't updated their website. I'll sign up for alerts thanks. They sold out that’s why they have a preorder for the new batch if you want them I’d sign up on there website to get a chance to get 1 or 2

It's about the same size as the PB-3000, with an extension rating to match. Although if the 10S is anything to go by, the 12S will be more musical than the competitors. 😎The enclosure appears to be oversized, this may well have the best extension for subs under $700
