One question, how does the Eminence LAB15 15" compare to the 15” HO? Seems like PSA is using these drivers.
In what way, that is an open ended question.
Lab 15: More expensive, normalized motor strength ( Bl^2/Re ) of 145.49. 11.8 mm xmax. Copper wire on aluminum former, 3" diameter coil.
RSS 390HF-4: Cheaper, normalized motor strength of 75. 14 mm xmax on the datasheet. Copper wire on aluminum former, 2.5" diameter coil.
Not quite double the motor strength on the Lab 15 compared to the RSS 390HF-4. Moving mass difference is 2 grams between the two. The RSS 390HF-4 has twice the compliance of the Lab 15. ( 0.22 mm/N for the RSS 390HF-4 vs 0.11 mm/N of the Lab 15 )
