Ruby and Computer Games

Hi there,

Just started the process on bidding out my HT area for development and first bid came back with a Sony Ruby (at a very competive price below online). I would go with this if I knew I could play Battlefield 2 from the computer on it on 102-110" sitting 12-14 ft back. It was going on a Vutec screen.

These Ruby babies are pretty rare and didn't even have one in the showroom. Another bid coming in for the Runco 610/710 and optoma h78.

I wanted to if there was any appreciable ghosting or lag of the image on the Ruby (I am assuming there is some on the Runco and Optoma).

Thanks

Brandon

Played a few minutes of Far Cry on the ruby on a 144" wall. It looked fantastic!
Everyone,

Thanks the news is enouraging. It seems to me that we are at an inflection point where the 1080i/p projectors will be taking the place of the 720p and we should be seeing this happening in next 2-3 months. I cant wait to play some battlefield 2 on a HT set up

Brandon
Just a silly observation...

When playing the XBox 360 on the Ruby, it becomes obviously clear how silent the projector is... The 360 is so LOUD.. Now I think I need a hush box for the console :) What was MSoft thinkinking
