Ruby network settings

This should be simple, but for some reason when I configure the IP address (manually) in the Ruby menu, I can't seem to contact the PJ with a web browser. In fact, I also cannot ping the PJ.

It may be a network issue (I haven't checked thoroughly) but I simply moved a network cable from an AudioTron to the PJ (the AT had no issues).

Any tricks?

I had to pull the power and restart before the Ruby takes the network changes.
Maybe thats it - I'll experiment later.

Thanks,

- Chris
BTW,

Can the PJ be accessed via ethernet when the power is OFF also ?

Thanks,

- Chris
Yes, if you set Standby Mode to Standard.

If you used the same IP address, maybe you need to clear your arp cache :) Or reboot your PC (or reboot the Ruby which should send a grat' arp when it comes up).
