How many years does the warranty that comes with the Ruby cover? What is Sony's policy regarding dead or stuck pixels and convergence? What type of coverage does the lamp come with? Have you guys gotten any extended warranty coverage and if so what are those details?

All this has been covered in threads here. The Sony comes with a two [edit, my from memory of one year was not correct] years parts and labor. The bulb 90 days. Three year extended warranties are readily available from Sony and others. Cost is under $400. Sony's dead pixel policy is ad hoc and is through Sony service in Lorado, Texas. Generally, a dead red or green pixel near the center is covered, at the edges no. Good luck in getting a blue pixel covered but it generaly can't be seen in normal viewing anyway. It's not like a dead pixel on a single chipper.

No. Of course it doesn't cover the bulb. The bulb just like the air filter are wearable parts and are not covered by the general or extended warranty. The bulb is warranted for 90 days from the date of purchase.
