Hello,

I have a CRT projector, but have a buddy that is going to do a digital and I am not sure how to advise him on this point. He is putting in drywall soon, so he has waited to the last minute.

He will run PVC conduit in-case he changes but...

What cable and connector types do you need for digital projectors. For CRT we use either 5 BNC to 5 BNC or 15 HDDB to 5 BNC. Is it the same for digital projectors.

He will probably go right from the DVD player and Sat. Dish to his projector, I think some of the digital ones come with internal scalers.

He does not know what kind of projector he will get yet.

JUst have him make sure his conduit is bige enough to get the needed cables through, remember a DVI sonnection is quite large compaired to most...keep in mind somthing may come up in the futere thats larger, i would say 2" should be sufficient....if not im in trobel then also.

to supply what you're asking, one component, one composite, one s-video. There are many other combos if neccessary.

run the power cord into an outlet built next to it built on ceiling.
