I'd like to drive a Runco DTV-5801 with my computer adapter. I have a Matrox Marverl G-200. Do I need a specific device driver? I have a HD15 to component cable. Is their a specific resolution and frequency I need to set my display? Thanks. Greg.
You should post this at the home theater PC topic. There's a program called Powerstrip that will let you define custom resolution and timing for the video output. May or may not work with your video card though. If your thread title is more specific, you'll usually get better responses. Welcome to the forum!
Ricketts, I have the Runco 5801c w/ VHD processor and I was told from RUNCO that the TV is set-up for 540p as the best picture. 960x540 @60 hz is the settings you are looking for. You can contact RUNCO and ask for Tinh Ho (yes, thats his name) He designed the 5801 and knows it inside and out. www.runco.com Hope this helps.
