What will happen? (I'm expecting it will blow up or something :p)

What if I do the opposite (line-level into speaker-level)? Will it still blow up?

1. It will probably not blow up but it will be overloaded, distorted and may shut down.

2. No but you will not get much, if any, sound out.

There are simple adapters to take care of (1).

An amp takes care of (2).

Buy a LOC (Line Output Convertor)

Be warned that many factory stereo's have an eq curve that is based on volume level. In fact the louder you turn up the volume, the more reduction in bass occurs. This is done to extend the lifespan of factory speakers from blowing due to having the bass level maxed along with volume and say bass heavy music. There are several solutions out there that will take the speaker output, Re eq the signal flat and give you rca outputs that you run to the amps.
