I played a few hours yesterday on Lost Planet. I decided to end the night by playing some Gears online. Either my controls were super sensitive or all that running around in Lost messed my head up

I can't think of another game that has done that to me. I kept overshooting everything.

Well you are in the snow in lost planet so its supposed to be slower. I actually have a more enjoyable time playing lost planet. GOW is a great game but man did I get stressed out playing it.

I only played the demo yesterday, but I was unimpressed...Yes slow, some cool weapons and being able to control mechs is cool but Gears (still) makes me go "HOLY SH!T, did you SEE that??!!!!" I thought that LP was lacking. (please tell me that the game is far better)

Lost Planet is my new fav game. The game is just as stunning as GOW in different ways. Beautiful game and just a more overall more fun time playing IMO.


Dont get me wrong though, GOW is a ground braking game. I just got to stressed and anxious playing it. After I beat it, I only played it a few more times and just couldnt take the stress.

I had a 12% coupon for Best Buy, and a $20.00 reward zone coupon, so I figured I would give it a shot and buy Lost Planet. The reviews I have read have pretty much said it was terrible (mostly, some good reviews). I didn't think it was terrible at all! I do have to agree though, that it is a very slow game control wise, and the gameplay is a bit strange. I didn't spend much time with it, but within 5 minutes I was at the first "boss" creature thing, and can't figure out how to kill him before I run out of thermal energy. Again, didn't spend a lot of time with it.


I would say that I "LIKE" the game, but don't "LOVE" it... I think it is better than some of the reviews it is getting...

I started to love the game after level 4ish.. You start getting more and better mechs, and you get caught up in bigger and better fights.


Reckon its a cracking game.. and I didn't think I was going to like it as much as I did!

It is slow because you are in the snow, just jump in a slider mech and you can speed across the maps, power jump etc.
