Running conduit in your theater?

Anyone using conduit while building so you can always add circuits. I am wondering if there would be a rattling after it's sealed in the ceiling or in the walls. Once you double rock it will be a little more difficult with out conduit!! SidsDad

Sure. I ran 2" schedule 40 conduit between my eqiupment closet and projector location, and 1/2" Greenfield to ceiling fan boxes for my side surrounds. I don't have conduit for the other speakers, although my basement beneath the theater/listening room is unfinished.

It6s definitely worth doing, and it won't rattle.

I used expending foam wherever the conduit had to go through a top plate to prevent rattling.
