I am putting my cooling ducts on the floor of the stage and the return on the ceiling. I will need to run the ducts through the stage, but I will also need to fill the stage with sand. Is it safe to put all the ducts in and then fill the area around them with sand, or do I need to do something else?? I am just afraid of sand getting in the ducts and maybe the sand being too much weight for the ducts. What is your opinion??

Your supplies should be ceiling mounted with your returns.

Ok, that brings up another question. If I have supplies running through the ceiling, do I just stuff insulation around the supplies?? Or how do I insulate the space between the joings where the supplies are?

Us insulated flex duct and fill all airspace remaining in the joist cavities with insulation.
