I need to run a zone 2 wire to my basement and I forgot to run the RCA cable before I did the ceiling. So now I'm stumped on how to get the wire down there.


I have a dual outlet cable jack near my primary receiver that's not used. Can I adapt the RCA ends to connect to those and transmit the signal that way?

Yep. You can get RCA to F adapters in several flavors.

This is intriguing. Just how does it work. Are you saying I can piggyback a linelevel stereo signal on my cable wiring??


With a lot of limitations, it would still be great. Where do I find more??

No, it means you can use one coax cable to carry one signal.

Well, it would have been nice. I bought some RCA connector to make a long cable with shielded cable, but it will be work to run!
