Since the 3.7 upgrade is due in New York real soon now, I thought I should bite the bullet and replace my hard disk with one I bought 4 months ago for this purpose. Just in case something breaks in 3.7 and stops this working


So now I have 120Gb and eagerly waiting 3.7... my UTV doesn't know what's hit it!

I have a hard drive on order, but have already received the 3.7 upgrade. Just to confirm, when I do install the drive (assuming it will be within the next week or so), will I receive 3.5 over the phone line and then receive 3.7 via the satellite? If so, how long will I have to wait to get 3.7 (again)?

I received the 3.7 upgrade early last week and replaced my drive with a 120GB this past weekend. The install went fine and 3.5 was loaded on the UTV. Still waiting for another 3.7 upgrade.

I received my upgrade to 3.7 on Monday and then replaced my hard drive on Wednesday. I also only have the 3.5 now. I talked to Ultimate TV today and the best answer I could get is that I should be getting the upgrade again sometime soon. Another phone call got the information that they would be sending more upgrades out, and keep sending them until December 23, 2003. I hope it will come soon I already miss it.

I also want to thank all the great information I have gotton on thie site for allowing me to upgrade to the 120 GB drive, it works great. I bought this UTV 2 day's after it first hit the market and I have always wanted to have a bigger hard drive, its great. If anyone can make it bigger I would like to know how myself.

I had upgraded my UTV to a 120GB drive on 4/27 which wiped out my 3.7 upgrade that had been received 5 days prior. I got home tonight (5/1) to find that I had again been upgraded to 3.7.


Now, if I could only decide which plasma I'm going to get... Saw the 503cmx last night and it looked good even from my 9' viewing distance.
