I have a Geforce 3Ti from MSI that has an s-video out and i decide to try it out in my tv, so i purchased a 50 ft s-video cable and ran the cable from my computer with the video card in it to the tv and selected under the advanced settings to select tv/s-video as my display instead of my monitor (which is also connected to this video card, this card only allows one display type to be use at one time). The desktop apeared on my tv and picture quality was good but it is not taking up the full area on my 4:3 TV display. There are vertical black bars to the left and right of the display. Could this be do to my computer thinking that my TV has a widscreen aspect ratio and if so where can this be configured. I have the latest Nvidia drives. Thanks
On a side note I have try this TV with another computer that had an AIW 8500DV (ati) card in it connected to the TV through s-video and the desktop covered the full screen.
