Sa 4200hd & Jvcdh 3000u ? Ieee Firewire

Hello Members,


I need a little help here. I just recieved my SA 4200HD with the IEEE 1394 connection, and I need some help with the set up to record to my JVC DH3000U. Any help wil be appricated. Hey Vic dont you have the same set up?

HELP PLEASE I want to record the Sopranos tommorow.

No, I have the 3250HD and the 30K. There's nothing special that you really should have to do. Turn the 4200 to an HD channel and connect it to the JVC. The 30K should detect the 4200 immediately and label it I-1 if you don't have any other firewire devices attached to it. You should now be able to view the 4200's output via the 30K's component connection. Hit REC when ready and voila!

Thank You Vic That did it. I was not labeling the JVC to I-1 Very Cool !!! I can finally take full advantage of this machine. By the way have you tried to record from channel 700 paypreview.
