i just added HD iO tv service in my home, and i thought that the interface would have at least been as slick and fast as time warner's in new york, but i was wrong....

it looks like the interface is made for a SD tv, just zoomed in. and when interacting with the box, it's slow when compared to normal interactions between a remote control and another device (like the tv itself).

does anyone know if there are better boxes for use with cablevision services ? i don't want to do Tivo yet, and i've seen their UI and it looks fantastic, but i wish cablevision at least had a more polished interface for HDTV users....

so is there nobody here that has noticed that Time Warner's Cable interface is smoother, faster and better looking than Cablevision's interface when interacting with the box ?

is this a box-specific characteristic or a software-specific characteristic ?
