Hi, I'm trying to buy a set of custom veneer speakers and was wondering what's your opinion on Salk SongSurround Is vs Triad InRoom Gold Omni speakers. How do the components of these speakers compare?

According to Salk's specs, the SongSurrounds are using Seas CA15 midwoofers and Hiquphon OW1 tweeters. How do these compare to the ones in the Triad?

Just found out that the Triad is using Vifa tweeters and a custom Peerless driver. For those that knows what this all means please chime in.

I don't think it means much of anything. The crossover and cabinet construction are at least as important as the drivers.

Yup. Both have a good reputation, so definitely try to get an audition of both.
