Earlier this week my 6-week-old 5065W refused to power up. All I got was the dreaded 3 blinking lights. It wouldn't respond to anything. However, I unplugged it for a couple of minutes. When I plugged it back in the wall, the blinking lights were gone. It came up fine. Now here's the question, I had previously posted an issue of the TV not "booting" on the first try. In other words, I would hear the color wheel spin-up, but no light. After a few seconds, the color wheel would stop spinning, spool again, and then finally the lamp would turn on. This was happening about 1 out of 10 power ups. This is still happening. Should I exchange it for a new set, or let the tech try to repair it? My only concern with exchanging it is my fear of dead pixels. I also worry about techs that may not have any experience with these sets.

Thanks in advance,

Edward
