The picture on my new 507W has a slight tilt. According to posts on the forum, this can be remedied by loosening the screws on the light engine, making subtle adjustments (working with someone to help align) and fastening the light engine back. I'm considering attempting this myself due to my difficulty in being available for the service company and it seems from other posts that even with a tech on-site, the results may not be good. Being tech savvy, I have no problem attempting this and figure I'd at least have more patience.

Does anyone know to access the light engine?

Thanks

will that void your warranty ?

I don't have one so I don't know if there is a warranty sticker on the access panel or the light engine.

Not loosening, tightening?

Uh, I think you might be messing something up. The 3 screws that are spring loaded are NOT the adjustment screws for adjusting the skew of the DMD. The correct screws for adjustment require loosening, makeing the adjustment, then retightening. Without a picture it is hard to explaing, but your post caused me to offer a quick reply.
