Anybody know about the HD931? Is there anyway to upconvert over component? I know you can on the 941. Thanks!

I have this player and for my HD CRT sets the picture looks horrible with severe black crush.

It now is in my kids room hooked up to a 20" CRT. I have a zenith dvb318 which is hacked for component upconversion. PQ is great!

I had the HD931 for awhile and don't think I could ever upconvert over component. I am using the LG DVB418 over component and recommend it. It requires a firmware upgrade to the LG LDA531 firmware and a remote hack.

Unfortunately it is a great looking player and a very good remote. Just a horrible PQ. A bad implementation of the faroudja chip.
