Hi,


For some reason, as soon as I installed my HLN, my TiVo unit begain "freezing" during recording. Anyone seen this before?

I have the HLN46 and a Series 1 Sony Tivo. No problems with the interface between the two. The problem you are describing seems like it would be Tivo or DirecTV based. Is it "pixelizing" or completely freezing? Have you seen anything similar with DVD's?

Hi John,


As it happens, it isn't a DirecTV Tivo. Haven't seen any pixelizing.


"Freeze" is exactly what's happening. It simply freezes as if it were a snapshot of the screen.


Good question about the DVD. Haven't had any "freezing" with my DVD player, but I have seen the dialog be out-of-sync with the action by about 1/2 a second or so. Haven't really looked at that though. I just ordered a Bravo D1, so its not as pressing.
