All the Samsung DLP DVI ports are HDCP compliant. If you're buying a TV today or in the near future; it's a good idea to make sure it has a HDCP compliant DVI or HDMI port (HDMI is the successor to DVI and is backward compatible).
HDCP is basically copy protection for high definition signals and someday (who knows when) manufacturers will only allow HD signals across HDCP (or other similar encryption method) enabled ports.
For example, Samsung's HD931 DVI equipped DVD player uses HDCP. Only TVs with DVI-HDCP ports are able to use the player in the 720p or 1080i setting.
