I used to be able to run the PIP in full split screen mode prior to installing me TWC HDDVR and conneting to the 720p/1080i input on the tv.

Is this something I should be able to still use off that connection or is it a limitaion of the TV to not be able to split screen PIP off the 720p input?

Thanks in advance for the assistance.

My understanding is that the Split Screen function will not work with 720p/1080i material.

Which set do you own? Capabilities are going to vary by the set. In general things like Component, DVI, HDMI, PC are not going to be supported as the sub channel, thus you won't be able to have two of them at the same time.

I have the 61" DLP HLN.

So if I understand you correctly, if i use my 720p input as one of the sources I can not display the 1/2 and 1/2 split screen pip? If that's the case that's a bummer...I miss being able to have two football games side by side on Sunday.

Do you mean my cable box? I will give that a try.
