I recently got a Samsung 32" LCD HDTV (Model 360 - a 720p set) for use in my Basement rec room.
It looks fantastic, but I have one thing I'm curious if I can change. Since it's a 60Hz LCD HD set, it has built in line doubling. But I want to be able to disable this feature on certain analog inputs - namely on the Composite Video input, as I have a composite modded Atari 7800 and Sega Master System attached to it. Although some of these games look great on it, others - specifically any with 30Hz flicker coded into them, look like absolute ****.
I have been able to get into the Samsung Service menu using the mute 1-8-2 power method, but I donit really see an option to adjust line doubling or progressive scanning for 480i inputs.
Can this be done? I can do ths on my Mitsubishi 65" DLP, and these games look just fine on that, but that's not my main Gaming room TV.
any help will be appreciated. Please don't drop a "use the search feature" on here either - I did. Nothing even remotely close to what I'm asking shows up.
