I have a Gigabyte 690G based computer for general/htpc use. For the last year or so it was connected to a standard Samsung 46" LCD TV (model LA46M81B). A month ago, I replaced it with a LED driven 46" incher (Samsung model UA46B6000VR). Both are 1080P.

Now, whenever I go to a page with Adobe Flash content (be it with picture content or video like in Youtube), the display starts "hunting" for sync. The screen flickers constantly and sometimes even blanks out for a second or two and returns. It's very annoying to the eyes. The problem occurs only when the Flash content is on a web page and goes away if I play it in full screen.

I upgraded to the latest Catalyst Drivers for the legacy X1200 chipset (9.3 version) but the problem still persists. The previous display never had any such problem, and I'm at a loss as to what might be causing this. Any ideas?

The display is set at 1920x1080 60Hz.

Thanks in advance

Did you make any changes to any settings on your PC when you swapped the TVs?

I just unplugged the HDMI cable from the old one and plugged it into the new TV. I then set the Scaling Options to 0% in Catalyst and set the TV to "Just Scan" where it does bit-to-bit mapping to set it to 1080P. This is exactly what I did with the old TV too. Other than that, nothing.

Is it possible to reconnect the pc to the 46 in to see if the problem goes away? Or maybe try a different hdmi port on the TV?

I tried that too and had no problems with the old TV. And the problem persists with different HDMI ports on the LED based new one.

Were the scaling options set to 0 in Catalyst for the old TV also?

What is the resolution that you have used with both TVs?

Did you get the new drivers at the ATI.Com website?

Yep. The scaling was the only option that needed adjusting in Catalyst for both TVs to get bit for bit mapping. And the drivers are from the ATI website.
