Samsung 5086 questions....(calibration, HDMI ect..)
Hi...
I bought the 5086 last week from CC, So far I am enjoying, I found this forum a few days ago and find it very informing.
What does having the tv calibrated actually consist of??. Does a guy just come to my house and mess with settings?, It seems like a waste of money if he's just tinkering with the menus and settings and such.
Recomended DVD to calibrate it myself?
Is HDMI really worth it over component cables?, Optical?, whats that for?
Everything seems to be displayed in 1080i according to the info bar on the tv(as far as hi-def stuff), i have yet to see it show 720p, The cable box has no options for this stuff(comcast motorola)
any help appreciated
