Hi,

It's a 51" F8500 with the supplied stand. Just noticed that the TV is tilted backwards, but just by a little bit, when I look at it from the side.

Is it supposed to be this way by design?

I also noticed that the guide protrusion on each edge of the stand is not all the way inside the hole in the bottom of the TV, some of the protrusion is visible.

Thanks

I think the one I've here is tilted very slightly back so screen is pointed slightly up.Its the e series budget model.I thought it was a good thing as you see reflections of walls more.If it's pointed down you would see all the stuff on the ground (tables, chairs, other stuff)and yourself reflecting more.

I would certainly check the mount of the display to the stand. Did you assemble or the delivery guys? The mount is quite straight forward and it would seem unusual to "botch the job" BUT your circumstance seems to contradict that. The brackets to the display are L & R respectively (marked as well) and it would seem difficult to swap. My 64 is wall mounted so I can't speak for the assembly directly but I certainly did inspect the stand and brackets because I did anticipate the stand mount.

Did you tighten each screw little by little (correct way when building or mounting anything )and continue in this manner .

You're not suppose to tighten first screw all the way then next all the way and so on all the way, which can warp or throw off any build.

Only thing I can suggest is laying tv back down (screen down) on bed or soft flat surface and remove screws and then screw them in again, but just screw each screw little by little until all are snug and tight.

Remove all screws not just the ones for TV to stand. Remove mount screws to stand also and start all over.

If you tighten one by one all the way and do top screw first it will tilt forward. Same for bottom screw tightened first all the way will cause it to tilt backwards.

Every screw little by little until all tightened.
