Samsung 5271 audio options.

Hello! Here is my first post


I have Directv HD DRV, 2 Older DVD players, Yamaha RX630 receiver, and an OLD Sharp non HD TV. I have all my stuff switching through my Yamaha now. I have my eye on the Samsung 5271 that has HDMI and components. I will also be buying a new DVD player that uses HDMI.


My Question is..


If I rout my DHDVR and new DVD player with HDMI, can I use the optical out from the back of the Samsung to feed my Yamaha, or do I need to send the fiber from the HDDVR, DVD directly to the Yamaha?
